Gut Loving Burger With Classic Slaw

Our gut-loving burger topped with tangy sauerkraut that’s a treat for both your taste buds and your microbiome. Serve alongside a crunchy, vibrant slaw with a nutty and citrusy dressing for extra zing.
Ingredients
Yeo Valley Organic Beef Burgers
Burger buns
Sauerkraut
Classic Slaw
1/2 head red cabbage, finely shredded
1 large carrot, grated
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1 tbsp sesame oil
Juice of 1 lime
Handful of parsley, chopped
2 tbsp toasted seeds (pumpkin or sunflower)
Salt & pepper, to taste
Method
1. Cook your burger as per the cooking instructions.
2. To make the slaw, combine all vegetables and parsley in a bowl. Then drizzle over sesame oil and lime juice, then mix well. Sprinkle with toasted seeds and season to taste. Serve immediately for a crunchy slaw, or let is marinate for a deeper flavour.
3. Assemble your burger as you'd like. We topped ours with the crunchy slaw, and zingy sauerkraut for a burger your gut will thank you for.
