Yeo Valley Associates exists to help drive the change towards natural and healthy food systems.
Humans are facing three huge threats to our existence on Earth – Climate Breakdown, Biodiversity Loss and a Health Crisis. The industrialised food system contributes massively to all of these; it is responsible for a third of all GHG emissions, global soil degradation, deforestation, agrichemicals, monocultures, ultra-processed food… the list goes on.
We invest to help to build a food system that delivers natural and healthy food to consumers, while regenerating the planet.

Equinox Kombucha
In 2019, Yeo Valley Associates saw the potential of both Equinox and the kombucha market in the UK and decided to invest in the business, supporting its growth ever since.
Wildfarmed
In June 2022, Yeo Valley Associates invested into Wildfarmed – a system which enables farmers to grow arable crops in a way that promotes soil health and diversity across their fields while simultaneously creating a marketplace for them that rewards quality rather than quantity.
Origin Coffee
In October 2023, Yeo Valley Associates invested in Origin Coffee, a Cornwall-based independently owned specialty coffee roaster sourcing premium coffee through a sustainable, triple bottom line approach (People, Planet, Profit).
Binit
In November 2023, Yeo Valley Associates saw the exciting opportunity to invest in tech-led commercial waste and recycling business Binit. The £250,000 investment is part of a £750,000 funding round led by the British Business Bank appointed fund manager, The FSE Group. The transaction marks the first major deal from The British Business Bank’s £200 million South West Investment Fund.
