Put Nature First
It's time to Put Nature First.
Because, lets face it, that's what really makes the world go round.
At Yeo Valley, we always strive to Put Nature First. We've been an organic brand for more than 25 years. From nurturing our soil with the utmost care, to reducing food miles and carbon emissions, we're lowering out climate footprint in the things we do.
Playing our part is just the start. Now we're on a mission to inspire the world to live more sustainably. We believe that if everyone does a little, together we can achieve a lot. One of the easiest (and most delicious) ways to join the cause is to eat British organic food.
So, this Organic September and beyond, chose homegrown organic and help Put Nature First.
P.S Sharing is caring- help us spread the word!
Put Nature First
It all starts with organic farming: taking a lead from nature, working with the seasons and natural rhythms to get the very best results, because when we look after nature, nature looks after us. Of course, we know we aren’t perfect, so no matter what we do or achieve, we’re always looking to do more. Here are just a few of the things we’re doing to help put nature first…
For us, good farming is about working with nature rather than against it.
Doing things the right way all starts with the ground beneath our feet.
We’re well on our way to making sure all our packaging is recycled and recyclable.

Get Your Hands Dirty
We teamed up with chef, food writer and soil activist Gizzi Erskine to talk about the importance of soil and regenerative organic farming. Gizzi is a soil lover so fits in well at Yeo! “As a chef, I’m obsessive about food and the best ingredients, but over the last few years I’ve been on a journey focusing on where our food comes from and how it impacts the environment. I’ve learnt that it all comes back to the soil.” Watch the video to see what happened when she came to our organic farm and spoke to our very own Tim Mead.
We're Crazy about Clover
Ah clover. This humble 3 (or sometimes 4!) leaved miracle worker is one of our favourite and most hard-working plants in the valley! We plant clover as part of our herbal grass leys for many reasons. It helps improve soil health and also provides additional nutrients for our cows.
You can recycle your big pots of yogurt
Our big pots of yogurt are widely recycled once you’ve finished the yogurt inside. Unzip the cardboard sleeve, rinse the pot and separate.
