Half Term Hangouts
With the half term coming up, many of us are wondering how we’ll be keeping our little ones occupied during the week.
Which is why we’ve put together a list of activities for your children to enjoy each day of the week!

Monday – Paint a Pebble Pal
On Monday, we have this fun activity for your little and big explorers to do. All you need are some pebbles and paint, and then let them follow their creativity. Whether that be painting a bumble bee or a lovely rainbow it’s a great way to keep them occupied!
Tuesday – Butter Tub Garden
If the weather is promising on Tuesday, then this outdoor activity is a great way to teach your little ones about nature and the power of soil to help plants grow. Repurpose one of our Yeo Valley Organic butter or our Little Yeos pots as a flower bed for whatever seeds you choose to grow. You can also have your children draw what they think the grown plants will look like!
Wednesday – Valley Explorers
Our Valley Explorers page has lots of great videos to show your little ones about the workings of an organic farm. You can take a tour around our organic farm and garden, and even listen to the different birds and other animals that live on our farm. See if you can recognise any!
Thursday – Wildlife Wordsearch
How many words can you find? Our printout word search, inspired by life on an organic dairy farm, is a fun way to keep your little ones occupies and practicing their spelling and reading. You can also learn some fun facts about the importance of bees and clover!
