Visiting us…

Getting here
Public transport here leaves a lot to be desired, so you’d be best to come by car, bike or foot. We’re just 15 miles south of Bristol (off the A38).

Accessibility
There is access for wheelchairs, and mobility scooters to the cafe. In the garden itself, there is extensive use of gravel and grass which can be limiting. Assistance dogs are welcome.

Parking
There’s plenty of free parking available at the Yeo Valley Organic Garden and our HQ. We encourage reverse parking and have disabled access spaces. So you can just turn up and park up! Easy.
Events - Bee Safari
I went on a Bee Safari with author Jean Vernon in the Yeo Valley Organic Garden to learn more about bumblebees and solitary bees. The session was excellent, combining an entertaining talk with images in an airy yurt followed by a walk into the adjacent gardens to take a closer look at the bees.
I visited Yeo Valley Gardens today with my mum and sister in law for one of the events, which was a Bee Safari. We had a great morning and were greeted with tea, coffee and cake while watching a presentation about bees. We then went on a walk around the gardens and met the delightful farm dogs. The gardens are beautiful and we learned from the Bee Safari there are hundreds of types of bee. We then had a closer look at a few of the bees we found.
We had a wonderful time today on the Farm to Fridge tour/experience. Roy & Helen were exemplary ambassadors and added to our experience throughout. Thoroughly recommend this as a very worthwhile day out although you may not get as lucky with the weather as we did - a quintessential English summers day!
My son had booked us onto the Best of Both day that included coffee/tea on arrival and then a cookery demonstration, which was followed by lunch, that included some of the items we saw being prepared. After lunch we had a guided tour of the garden, followed by afternoon tea/coffee and cake. The whole days was very enjoyable.
I spent the day at the Yeo Valley Organic Gardens last week at Drawn in the Garden with the very talented and lovely Natasha Clutterbuck. Wet weather drove us into the greenhouses for the day, but this did not detract from a few hours of drawing and painting, surrounded by an array of beautiful plants, flowers and vegetables. All in all the perfect way to spend a day sheltering from the unseasonal torrential downpours.
